Choosing the right Velcro strap for the right cable is not as simple as it sounds.
Here is a little guide to help you choose the most appropriate CableWrap for your needs.
The following recommendations are based on mating the full length of the hook section of the CableWrap in order to achieve maximum strength.
Two important parameters are the diameter of the cable and the diameter of the section of the coil once rolled up. These two elements must be taken into account in choosing the most appropriate size of CableWrap.
The table given below is only a subjective guideline. Experience will show that the values may be variable.

| 1" x 3" H3 | ~2cm | This CableWrap is smaller but more sturdily manufactured and is intended for very short cables where extreme robustness is required. It is the smallest of the CableWraps and is intended for cables of less than 1.5m. |
| 1" x 6" H6 | ~4cm | This is the commonest medium-sized CableWrap. It is suitable for many applications, such as power cables, micro cables and most cables of up to 8-10m, depending on the section size. |

The 2” model is double-stitched, with 2 metal reinforcement eyelets and 2 very sturdy nylon ties with the heads protected by an extra flap. This 2” CableWrap is ideal for heavier cables or cables with a wide section such as distribution cables, multi-conductor cables or microphone multicores. |
